Challenge

HelloFresh is on a mission to create a more sustainable food supply system. To get there, their marketing team needed a data-driven, on-demand system that could quickly scale. But a mix of clunky business intelligence (BI) tools and burdensome spreadsheets held them back. 

The marketing team required granular campaign, ad group, and creative-level reporting to get the right insights across brands, channels, and markets. Data analysis challenged HelloFresh marketers in three ways:

  • They couldn’t make decisions without the help of the BI team, 

  • They couldn’t access enough data to effectively prove the value of their efforts. 

  • They wasted dozens of hours each week on manual spreadsheets.

Solution

Before Clarisights, marketers could only access high-level summaries via their BI dashboards. Deeper analysis relied on manual updates, transformations, and changes to data visualizations dependent on BI resources. Once HelloFresh adopted Clarisights as their marketing reporting platform, marketers could quickly move from high-level insights to keyword-level cross-channel views to detailed reports for a particular ad campaign—all in one no-code place.



Clarisights also saved HelloFresh hours of work each week that used to be spent updating manual spreadsheets. In the past, HelloFresh tried to solve the issue of data visibility by creating different spreadsheets for each channel, each team, each region, each time period, and each project. That led to an estimated 40 hours of team-wide maintenance time each week. With Clarisights, those hours were redistributed right where they needed to be: marketing analysis, testing, and iteration.
